Genital herpes is spread through the sexual activity and is caused by the herpes simplex virus which is also responsible for cold sores.
When first infected, people normally show no symptoms. Symptoms may not emerge until months or even years after infection. First infection is often more severe than subsequent infections.
Genital Herpes is caused by the herpes simplex virus. It enter the skin and/or mucous membrane through tiny breaks. The virus is mainly spread through sexual contact, but also can spread via clothing and other personal items. After entering the body, the virus is incubated for 4 days and the symptoms appear between 2 and 12 days.
