Symptoms of dysfunctional uterine bleeding or abnormal uterine bleeding are bleeding from the vagina between menstrual periods, Unsual length of mesntrual period (could be shorter or longer), Irregular length of menstrual period, Unsual amount of menstrual bleeding.

CAUSES


The disease of Dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB) could be cause by postmenopausal bleeding, abortion, endometriosis, cervical cancer, and pelvic inflammatory disease (PID).

Acupuncture treatment for Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding (DUB)

Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding (DUB), especially for women, are caused by menstrual blood that still flow even after menstrual period finished. The other caused would be irregular menstrual period and amenorrhoea. The treatment of acupuncture will try to cure this cause of the disease. The method use is aiming to clear an excess, tonify a deficiency or clear heat. The treatment given would be last only for 3 courses of treatment. Each courses will be consist of 4-5 days treatment prior and after menstruation period. This treatment objective is to normalising the menstrual cycle and regulate ovulation.
