Infectious diseases are diseases that caused by infection. Infections can come from many things including bacteria, viruses, parasites, or fungi. All mentioned infecting agent are called as pathogenic microorganisms. The disease that caused by infection can be spread whether direct or indirect. The infections are spreaded from human to human or from animal to human.

The symptoms of infectious disease depend on the infecting agent. Each infectious disease has its own specific sign and symptom. However, there are some common sign and symptoms of infectious disease including fever, diarrhea, fatigue, muscle aches, and coughing.

CAUSES
Infectious disease is a name of many disease that cause by many infecting agents. Infecting agents that can cause infectious disease can come from bacteria (Streptococcus agalactiae, Escherichia coli, Streptococcus pneumoniae ,Gram negative bacilli), virus (HIV, TBC virus, rabies, HPV, and so on), and fungi (Candida albicans, Malassezia furfur, and so on)

Acupuncture Treatment For Infectious Diseases
Acupuncture treatment practise see the Infectious Disease as Wen Bing or Hot Disease. This disease attack human being starting from outer part of the body and then continue to attack the internal organ. The progression of this disease is following the pattern of wei (defensive), qi (energy), ying (nutritive), and xue (blood) levels. The cause of this disease is said to have characteristic of no sound, no smell, no shape, and no shadow. Then the treatment given to the patient must follow the characteristic of hot disease.
