Symptoms of liver cancer can be the same as many other diseases, therefore careful examination must be performed before declare that somebody has liver cancer. The symptoms of liver cancer are abdominal pain or tenderness, easy bruising or bleeding, enlarged abdomen, jaundice, and sudden weight loss.

CAUSES

 


Like many other cancer and diseases, the exact cause of liver cancer is not so well known. However, there are some risk factors that increasing the chance of having liver cancer such as Hepatitis B or C, cirrhosis, smoking habit, drinking too much alcohol, obesity, and diabetes.

According to the Traditional Chinese Medicine practise, liver cancer is happen because of accumulation of the blood stasis and toxic blood. This stagnated and toxic blood fill the liver and spleen. Therefore the acupuncture treatment’s target is to remove this stagnation. When the treatment successful, there will be asphalt-like black feces comes out from the body. If this blood stasis can be purged out, then the prognosis of liver cancer can be better. Other organs that must be paid attention to when treating the liver cancer are stomach, spleen and kidney.
