The sign and symptom of ovarian cancer differ from woman to woman. And please note that the symptom might not those of ovarian cancer. Common sign and symptoms of ovarian cancer include; persistent abdominal bloating, indigestion, nausea, loss of appetite, a feeling of pressure in the pelvic region, frequent urinating, bowel movement change and a constant tiredness.

CAUSES
As with many cancers, it is not clear what causes ovarian cancer. The risk factors can be genetic, smoking , obesity, excess alcohol.

Just like any other cancer, ovarian cancer is a very serious disease. Acupuncture will not cure the disease. However, acupuncture can play a role by reducing the symptoms of the disease. The effectiveness of acupuncture therapy can increase if combined with conventional treatment. One of the acupoints that is used when dealing with the symptom of ovarian cancer is acupoint PC6. This acupoint is located above the wrist. Treatment to this acupoint can reduce nausea and vomiting.
