Acupuncture Treatment For Scabies

In order to effectively treat the disease, the acupuncturist must first establish the disease pattern. Scabies, which is caused by parasitic infestation has two stage. The first stage or early stage is characterized by skin eruptions of blisters. This early stage is due to the damp heat. The second stage or late stage is marked by dry and itchy skin. This last stage is caused by blood deficiency with wind dryness. After establishing the disease pattern, only then can the acupuncturist select the appropriate treatment course and protocol.
