Acupuncture Treatment For Irritable Male Syndrome (IMS)

Irritable Male Syndrome (IMS) is considered as mental disorder where the sufferer feel easy to get emotionally disturbed. The acupuncture treatment has the effective way to treat this kind of disorder. To treat patient with this disorder, acupuncturist will targeting the acupoints of Zhongwan (CV12), Xiawan (CV10), Qihai (CV6), Guanyuan (CV4), Qixue (KD13), Qipang (navel triangle points, 0.5 cun lateral to CV6). After insertion, the needles were retained for 30 minutes. One 30 minute acupuncture session was conducted twice per week, for a total of 8 consecutive weeks.
