Bursitis occurs when bursae become inflamed. The most common locations for bursitis are in the shoulder, elbow and hip. But you can also have bursitis by your knee, heel and the base of your big toe. Bursitis often occurs near joints that perform frequent repetitive motion.

Acupuncture treatment for Bursitis

Just like many other illness, the illness of bursitis also believed to be caused by the blockage of the qi flow along the meridian. The acupuncture treatment given to the patient of bursitis will try to remove the qi blockage by targeting the trigger point that will clear the meridian. By clearing the meridian, hopefully the illness will gone away by natural healing of the body.
