Prostate Disorders are any condition related to the prostate gland. Only men have a prostate gland. There can be prostate enlargement, prostatitis, and prostate cancer.
Prostate symptoms depend upon the disorder itself. For instance, prostate enlargement will cause frequency of urination especially during the night, difficulty urinating, a weak flow of urine and difficulty emptying one’s bladder.
Prostatitis is caused by a bacterial infection. Enlarged prostate is more common in elderly gentlemen but anyone who has any of the above symptoms should be urged to seek medical advice.
