BL19 is point 19 of the Bladder Meridian in traditional Chinese medicine.

NAME

The original Chinese name for BL19 is 膽俞 (dǎn shū), which translates as ‘Gallbladder Shu Point’ and the Korean name is 담유 (dam yu).
 

LOCATION

BL19 Bladder Meridian Acupuncture Point - Dermal / Skin level.BL19 Bladder Meridian Acupuncture Point - Muscular / Muscle level.BL19 Bladder Meridian Acupuncture Point - Skeletal / Skeleton level.
 
BL19 is located ‘1.5 cun lateral to DU7 at level of lower border of spinous process of 10th thoracic vertebra.’1
