NAME

The original Chinese name for BL22 is 三焦俞 (sān jiāo shū), which translates as ‘Sanjiao Shu Point’ and the Korean name is 삼초유 (sam cho yu).
 

LOCATION

BL22 Bladder Meridian Acupuncture Point - Dermal / Skin level.BL22 Bladder Meridian Acupuncture Point - Muscular / Muscle level.BL22 Bladder Meridian Acupuncture Point - Skeletal / Skeleton level.
 
BL22 is located ‘1.5 cun lateral to DU5 at level of lower border of spinous process of 1st lumbar vertebra.’1
