LI04 is point 04 of the Large Intestine Meridian in traditional Chinese medicine.

NAME

The original Chinese name for LI04 is 合谷 (hé gǔ), which translates as ‘Junction Valley’ and the Korean name is 합곡 (hap gok).
 

LOCATION

LI04 Large Intestine Meridian Acupuncture Point - Dermal / Skin level.LI04 Large Intestine Meridian Acupuncture Point - Muscular / Muscle level.LI04 Large Intestine Meridian Acupuncture Point - Skeletal / Skeleton level.
 
LI04 is located ‘On dorsum of hand between 1st & 2nd metacarpal bones approximately in middle of 2nd metacarpal bone on radial side.’1
