Acupuncture stimulates the brain either by stimulating acupuncture points at the head or at the distant points. Acupuncture treatment is considered to have positive effect on brain chemistry as it will stimulate the brain to release endorphins.  The treatment is expected to strengthen the nervous system as well as the immune and hormonal system. It will bring the entire system back into a more balanced and healthier state.4
